Pockerley riding school was purchased in 1998 by Tracey O'Donnell (BHSII) and has been steadily growing ever since from 4 school ponies in 1998 to 20 school horses and ponies in 2014. It originally had 5 acres of land and a wood chip arena. Today it has 40 acres of land and boasts 2 fabulous sand and rubber arenas.

What it has always had is a fantastic location in the heart of the Beamish country side.

Pockerley has a wonderful small friendly feeling which is complemented by the friendly and helpful staff who are always at hand to help.

The school has a variety of horses and ponies available from complete beginners up to competent riders who may wish to compete in show jumping, dressage or xc or further their riding career with BHS exams.

Pockerley is also an established livery yard providing both full and diy livery.
